Maya Swimwear Review

Maya Swimwear is a U.S brand and was created by Argentine designer Carolina Dinardi. Carolina’s inspiration came from watching her father who was a highly skilled Italian shoe designer, she was amazed watching his creativity come to life and started sketching designs of her own. In 2001 Maya’s first collection was introduced in the U.S.

The main idea of my design is to combine glamour, style and femininity, without losing freedom. I want people to feel the confidence that comfort gives and have fun with it – Carolina Dinardi

Alameda Night Signature Triangle Top & Bottom

The Alameda Night Top & bottom is a beautiful tropical designed bold bikini. The design shows the light reflecting on the leaves of the Alameda trees fading into the night. A really pretty bikini, and the colour & fit is really flattering. This was my favourite bikini to wear on holiday in Cala D’Or Mallorca, it was certainly very fitting with the scenic background overlooking my Balcony 🙂

Lory Signature Triangle Top & Bottom

The Lory bikini top & bottom is superbly designed and is inspired by the vibrancy of the lories feathers mixed with cobra skin made with high quality LYCRA fabric with a seamless effect.

The triangle top gives fits really nicely & is ever so flattering. The signature cut bottoms fit very nicely and shapes your frame really well, they easily glide on and are so comfortable to wear.

Splash Aquamarine Gemstone Front-Tie Top & Signature Bottom

Blue is one of my favourite colours for SS15 & when I cast my eyes on this beautiful tie-dyed creation by Maya it was a must have for Summer. I’m wearing the Splash Aquamarine Gemstone Front-Tie Top which ties around the neckline and ties up in the front with a precious blue stone. It’s really pretty & I like the way it ties up at the front, a nice twist to a back tie.

The bottom is the Splash Aquamarine Signature Cut which is beautifully cut, and fits well giving a fuller coverage.

Mosaic Arabesque Rose Signature Top & Bottom

This beautiful bikini set is a delightful play of symmetries with interesting rhythmic prints and interlacing. A very quirky yet feminine design with a playful modern twist. The combination of pretty rose detailing along with the cubic prints creates something very unique.

The Mosaic Arabesque bikini really does stand out, my favourite aspect is the clever play on design, it’s really beautiful!

Bouquet Waves Bikini

Maya Swimwear’s Bouquet Waves bikini is a pretty bandeau green bikini which comes with a removable strap so you can wear this bikini strapless or have the option of having that added support which creates a halter effect.

The bottom is a low rise side tie which fits ever so well, the ties help add shape to the hips creating a great shape which works really well for smaller frames.

Bimini Blue Signature Top & Bottom Bikini

The Bimini Blue Signature Bikini Top & Bottom is a really pretty & decorative bikini by Maya Swimwear. The brown spotted bottom makes a great contrast to the blue striped halter top. The top ties in the middle which is quite unique.

I’m wearing the signature cut bottom in this style, however you can also get this (and all bottoms) with less coverage if you prefer to be a little more cheeky (pun intended) 😉

Black Signature Bottom

This black signature bottom by Maya Swimwear is a beautifully cut black bottom which has been designed with Maya’s seamless effect providing a comfortable and nicely fitted piece of swimwear.

You can team this bottom with any bikini top from Maya, I have chosen to team it with my Splash Aquamarine Bikini Top as blue and black go so nicely together.

Overall, Maya Swimwear is a beautiful brand & really does impress with their play on colour, and attention to detail. The materials look and feel highly luxurious, & each piece of swimwear fits elegantly on the body shaping your curves.

A beautiful brand by a very talented designed.

Thanks so much for reading!

Which is your favourite piece? I would love to hear your thoughts 🙂
