Hampton Court Palace Festival 2019-Jools Holland
A luxurious garden party is a must during the British Summertime. Hampton Court Palace Festival is by far one of the most prestigious best-kept secrets for live music, an ideal location to enjoy talented artists whilst sipping champagne in the outstanding Palace Gardens.
The tranquility of Hampton Court Palace meshed with the festival atmosphere creates a memorable experience. Absorb the scent of the wood-burning ovens. Gaze at the misty haze of the silhouettes at sunset whist enjoying Luxury Hampers & Pimms. Quintessentially British!
For the ultimate luxury dining experience dine by waterside gazebo whilst enjoying a glass of Champagne PIAFF who sponsor the event, the brand’s philosophy of pour l’amour de la vie (for the love of living) suits perfectly for the Hampton Court Palace Festival.
Whilst being mesmerised by the golden hue of interiors of Hampton Court Palace we headed inside the auditorium to sit back and relax to enjoy the Legendary Jools Holland & Rhythm and Blues Orchestra.
Blues is a tonic for whatever ails you. I could play the blues and then not be blue anymore. B. B. King

I learned from Van Morrison and BB King that the first take is the best. It’s about capturing a moment. It’s the same as love’s first kiss. If you try to do it again, it doesn’t work so well. – Jools Holland
Growing up listening to classic Blues fond memories of listening to the crackling grit of vinyl listening to the likes of B.B King & Chuck Berry whilst some legendary songs were performed. A spectacular show!
For the event I opted for a cheerful bright yellow floral dress with a pair of comfortable designer flats to stroll around Hampton Court Palace Gardens. The backdrop of The Thames really did create an atmospheric setting.
Overall
The Hampton Court Palace Festival is certainly an event to attend for both historic appeal and to truly embrace the ambiance of live music in a iconic British venue.
