International fashion designer Omar Mansoor is by far one of my favourite designers to showcase on SheHearts. We recently had the pleasure of attending the Fashion London Catwalk Show at The AMBA Charing Cross Hotel.

Monochrome communicates clarity of keeping ideas either in black or white while being no grey area (we love the colour grey though) -Omar Mansoor

Omar kindly styled me for this special occasion in a beautifully fitted monochromatic striped dress, tailored to perfection with unique details such as it’s uniquely designed sleeves. An honour to be styled by such an inspirational Global Fashion Designer.

What is the inspiration behind this monochromatic dress?

The idea was a dress that can suit any physique and skin tone while being simple yet elegant.

What inspired the cut and shape of the dress, what material is it made from?

The material is recycled polyester crepe and the silhouette of dress is simple while the puffed sleeves adds oomph to it .

It can be wear as sleeveless with a plain black jacket to make it official wear so the element of multiple usage is there.

The details of the dress are beautiful, how would you recommend wearing this monochromatic dress?

This dress has detachable sleeves, which can be removed if it has to wear as office dress and can be attached to make it an evening wear

Thank you for styling me. Why do you feel this beautiful dress appeals to me personally?

You’re welcome and thanks for carrying it so elegantly! The black and white vertical  lines adds to your posture and makes your presence more noticed.

The silhouette is complementing all body shapes and adds an illusion to the height.

Omar Mansoor ‘Fashion Pact’ SS20 at London Fashion Week & The Show

Omar Mansoor’s 2020 ‘Fashion Pact’ collection ethos was associated with sustainable fashion using Royal Blues to represent the Ocean and Greens to represent the forest. One of my favourite dresses was a beautiful laced Royal Blue fitted gown showcased above.

Fashion London is the premier seasonal runway event for designers to present their collections during the busy London Fashion Week season. -Geoff Cox

Fashion London is organised by Founder Geoff Cox showcased at The AMBA Charing Cross Hotel, London. The catwalk introduces press to International Design whilst raising money for Children With Cancer UK.

Overall

Attending London Fashion Week is always a pleasure especially being personally styled by Omar Mansoor in his monochromatic dress.

London Fashion was incredibly impressive showcasing some beautifully unique designs raising money for a superb cause.
