Set in the beautiful Oxfordshire Countryside Salon Privé Concours d’Elégance 2019 by Chubb Insurance celebrated it’s 14th year at Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill now home to His Grace, The Duke of Malborough.
Quintessentially English and set against the backdrop of ‘Britain’s Greatest Palace’ with Lobster and Pommery Champagne, it is a very special blend of Concours competition entwined with entertainment -Andrew Bagley, Concours Chairman
Salon Privé’s 2019 VIP Celebration took place at the foot of Blenheim Palace, a breath-taking backdrop for a luxurious garden party celebrating Concours d’Elégance, 100 years of Bentley Masters, Classic & Supercars & Booldes Ladies Day.
This luxurious automotive garden party is set across 2,000 acres of British Countryside is organised by brothers Andrew & David Bagley. A prestigious event which impresses each year. A luxurious garden party with with a Royal backdrop. An honour to be invited.
Salon Privé Concours d’Elégance showcases the UK’s most prestigious ‘Best of the Best’ Classic Cars a partner to The Peninsula Classics, a personification of luxury meets automotive. Admire classic & modern day motors whilst sipping on Pommery Champagne in front of Blenheim Palace. Truly the heart of automotive luxury & lifestyle.
Concours d’Elégance displayed some of the most valuable vehicles in the world showcasing 50 motorcars and 20 motorcycles.
‘Reaffirming its place as the UK’s most exclusive Concours d’Elégance, the 2019 Salon Privé Concours d’Elégance by Chubb Insurance saw some of the world’s rarest and most spectacular classic cars and motorcycles battle it out against the breath-taking backdrop of Blenheim Palace‘ -Salon Privé
Exploring the grounds of the enclosure admiring the prestigious luxury brands on show such as Champagne Pommery, Boodles, Sloane Helicopters, At Pretium Jet Charter, Fairline Yachts & many more.
Guests enjoying the sights and sounds of the day, dressed in elegant attire. One aspect of the event is the intimacy and privacy of this elite event.

Fine Dining & Champagne Pommery
Salon Privé not only presents an exceptional automotive display, but equally provides outstanding cuisine and an unrivalled level of service. Guests can enjoy our sumptuous luncheon, along with English Afternoon Tea and Pommery Champagne -Salon Prive
Dining in the Champagne Pommery Enclosure outside of Blenheim Palace whilst sipping on Champagne Pommery was truly a VIP experience. The Pommery Grand Cru Royal Vintage Champagne was remarkable, along with the Brut Royal & Brut rosé.
The expression of a single beautiful year. It is made from seven 1001 grands crus classes. Exclusive blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnays. It improves in the cellars foremore than four years. Structured, Elegant, Subtle –Champagne Pommery on the Grand Cru Royal Vintage
Admiring the display of glorious cars gliding outside of Blenheim Palace whilst dining in the Pommery enclosure was memorable.
The Lobster Luncheon was perfectly prepared with fresh and delicate flavours. The grilled dishes worked perfectly in tone with the setting of a Quintessentially British Garden Party.
Traditional Afternoon Tea was served in the afternoon included a selection of British classics such as moorish sausage roll, classic finger sandwiches, chocolate brownies, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam. Delicious!

Salon Privé Bentley Masters by Chubb Insurance, Pirelli and Lockton Private Clients celebrated 100 Years of Bentley Motors, both vintage & modern Bentley’s showcased in front of Blenheim’s Palace with dramatic effect.
The sight of over a thousand Bentleys gathered in one place was truly extraordinary, and totally unparalleled in our history. I’m grateful to the organisers of Salon Privé for making this year’s event such an outstanding celebration of Bentley -Bentley’s Chairman and Chief Executive, Adrian Hallmark
Enjoying our Champagne Pommery and fine dining we admired glorious Bentley Motors judged by Adrian Hallmark – CEO of Bentley Motors and 5 times Le Mans Winner Derek Bell MBE.
“We were delighted to set a new record for a Bentley gathering with 1,321 examples of this iconic marque in the incomparable setting of Blenheim Palace” Ron Warmington, Director of the Bentley Drivers Club
The line up was incredibly impressive showcasing 50 exceptionally rare Bentley Motors and 20 motorbikes.
Favourites leaning towards the classic Bentley particularly the 1939 Bentley Corniche which has been recreated 80 years after the destruction of the initial model. Wonderful to see this streamlined Maroon beauty showcase at Blenheim Palace.
Overall – Salon Privé 2019
Attending Salon Privé 2019 was an incredible experience. A luxurious event with an intimate atmosphere. Admiring the retro and modern Motors displayed whilst enjoying fine dining and vintage champagnes from Champagne Pommery truly was an experience to remember.
